TrafficSwarm
has both fans and critics. Some marketers tell you it is a
waste
of time because the only people clicking on your ads are the ones who
want you to click on theirs, and that you are better off using other
traffic generation tools. Read on.
Active internet marketers and surfers are generally proven consumers of internet products and services. However, they, like everyone else, will only "buy" if you are offering them something they want and need, or something they can't resist because your ad is so effective! Read the notes below in conjunction with the information provided in the thread at the Owner's Business Center, and especially pay attention to the advice given by TE Profits owner, Scott Douglas on the TE Profits Buddy Blog:
Don't expect miracles, but for the price - Free - it's a worthwhile advertising resource. The people who complain it doesn't work for them either don't use effective ads or they don't build enough of a credit pool or persist long enough to see results. I have been using TrafficSwarm for several years. Since I joined, the membership has grown to over well over half a million members. Tips for making the best use of TrafficSwarm to advertise your business or product: 1. Join as a free member. 2. Set your default home page to TrafficSwarm. As a free member, you will earn one credit each time you open your browser, to the maximum of 30 credits daily. The limit is 30 credits per day to prevent people from amassing credits without looking at ads! That's 900 credits a month just for opening your browser! 2. You can have 10 ads as a free member. Create them! 3. You can select 3 categories as the target audience for each ad.
4. Write effective headlines and ads. Don't be sloppy with your text. Make sure your spelling and grammar are correctly rendered. Use a hit tracking service to gauge the effectiveness of your ads, e.g. are people clicking through? If people perceive that you are lazy with your ad, they may not bother to click on your ad, or if they do so just to earn credits, they are less likely to pay attention to your offer. 5. The TrafficSwarm system allocates views of your ad based on the total number of credits you have available in your credit pool. The more credits you have available, the more times your ad will be shown. Each show of your ad is called an impression and your credit pool will be reduced by 1 credit. It does not mean anyone clicked on your ad; it just means it was one of the 8 ads that appeared on the adboard. If you don't want to use up all your credits quickly, then set your credit cap for each ad. (The credit cap field appears at the end when you are editing your ad.) If you want to use up only 100 credits a day, then set the credit cap above that, between 130-150. The cap is just a guideline. If you want to be absolutely certain that you ad will be shown at least 100 times, then set the cap a bit higher. 6. How much does a free member need to surf to generate sufficient traffic to get results with signups and sales? If you surf just 30 minutes a day and click on ads, you can earn, on average, 170 credits per session. That equals 30 x 170 = 5,100 credits monthly. In addition, you can earn up to 30 credits per day x 30 days = 900 credits by setting your start page as the default page to open in your browser. So, 5,100 + 900 = 6,000 credits. I don't know about you but I open my browser several times a day and each time, I earn a credit. 7. Free or Pro TrafficSwarm Membership You can generate good traffic flow with a free membership if you use 10 ads and follow my advice as given above. Applying 6,000 credits each month to your ad rotation is going to give you some results, provided your headline and your ads are eye-catching and you are offering surfers something of interest to them. If you can afford it, a Pro Membership at $30 a month is worth considering. Pro ads are given priority and are shown more times. More exposures mean more chances for people to click through on your ad. A Pro member can get 340 credits a day for 30 minutes of surfing, plus 2,500 credits a month, plus up to 1,800 start page credits. That totals 14,500 credits a month, as compared with 6,000 credits for free members, without referrals. If you have referrals, you will earn more. In terms of leveraging one's time, a pro member can get in 10 minutes what a free member can get in 30 minutes. I suggest that first you see if you can get results as a free member. Then if you want to triple your results, go for Pro with that in mind. If you are promoting a product or service that people want or need, have a decent ad and a quality landing page, and you consistently show your ads to the equivalent of 30 minutes a day in surfing, you should see results with TrafficSwarm.
