Successful internet marketing is not as effortless as the hype would have us believe. If you are searching for an opportunity that requires no learning or work, you won't find it as an OBA Business Owner.  I can hear you say: "I just want to find something that works."  The reality is that nothing works unless you are willing to develop and educate yourself and do the work.

OBA is a simple business. (not easy, but simple). At its most fundamental level, it involves:

1. Making sure your back office is set up properly 
2. Advertising and promoting your sales pages
3. Understanding your back office and how OBA works 
4. Communicating with and assisting your partners 

Unfortunately many unscrupulous promoters want you to believe the hype that it's easy to earn online. The average newbie joins a program, places their referral links in a few traffic exchanges, perhaps even surfs their finger to the bone, and when they don't make a sale in their first month or two, they claim it didn't work for them. 

Using the standard OBA pages that everyone else is using will get you started. However, realize that by personalising your marketing, you will see more substantial results. It can take many thousands of visitors to your personalised sales pages before getting even one sale and that your real work begins after you make the sale, that is, when you help your business partners get their business up and running.

Importantly, you must master the marketing basics and lay the foundation before expecting results. Most people skip building the foundation, and throw up their business on shaky ground, and that is one sure recipe for disaster.

Persistence and burning desire are important for success. Let's face it, one reason people fail is because they don't stick around long enough. BUT you can have all the burning desire and persistence in the world and it may still not be enough to assure your success.  If you have not learned how to MARKET effectively on the internet, you will find it challenging and sometimes frustrating.  The question is: are you ready and willing to rise above that?

Will OBA teach you everything you need to know about marketing and promoting on the internet?  If you participate at the OBC you will learn a lot of useful information about various marketing approaches and resources others are using.  And to improve your marketing skills, you will need to expand your horizons by finding resources on the web that can teach you all about marketing. A simple Google search for the keywords "internet marketing courses" will bring you 3.7 million hits!

If you do everything you can to understand your
OBA business and approach it as a real business, and learn how to market your business and yourself effectively, and in turn, help your business partners to do the same, you will succeed.
