How OBA Works

I know you are keen to start advertising. After all, you joined this business to make money.

Before we get to that, I'd like to make sure that you have a basic understanding of what 
OBA is, what it isn't, and how it works.

The Online Business Alliance is not an opportunity to make money selling the opportunity to make money. 
OBA business owners are independent business owners who sell digitally-delivered information products (ebooks and software) and AdSpace leases. Your customers, who buy a digital product directly from you, are offered an option to also become independent OBA business owners.

Think about how a Ford dealership works.  The Ford Motor Company, through its dealership franchise, facilitates individuals going into business for themselves to sell Ford motor cars. 

The Ford dealer makes money by selling Ford cars, not by getting other people to buy Ford dealerships. A McDonald's franchise is a similar business model.  Products must be sold to make money.  

All income 
earned by OBA business owners is generated from:
  • selling digital ebooks and software products
  • selling AdSpace™ leases
  • joining pre-approved external affiliate programs that are advertised in AdSpaces 
  • income generated from the your marketing system, tools and resources
Please do not promote OBA as a "biz op" that promises to pay people to recruit people. OBA does not do that.

While owners may casually refer to their business partners as their 'downline', OBA is NOT a multi-level marketing (MLM) business. You are not paid commissions by the company. In fact, the company, Online Business Alliance, does not pay you--ever!

You are paid directly by your customers for (1) digital product sales and (2) by your business partners for AdSpace™ lease sales, and (3) by the approved affiliate programs that you opt to join via the AdSpace link in your back office.

A Word About Your Costs

The first cost is the purchase of the $5 digital OBA product.  The OBA business is free. You have paid to buy Stacked Income or one of the other digital products from the $5 product line.  If you have chosen to purchase the product only, that's it.

However, if you have chosen either paths 2, 3 or 4 during your setup process, your $5 purchase also gives you access to the other $5 products in the catalog, with resell rights, at no further cost, and you are in business!  If you are looking for just a little extra income, you can sell the $5 products. 

The next cost to consider is $30 to purchase Adspace #1 (a one-off cost).

When your future partners join you in OBA, you will want them to follow your example and plug into the Adspace opportunity right away. This is where your long term residual income is going to be building.

The cost after that is the $10.75 monthly subscription to join the underlying program in
AdSpace #1: GlobalNPN. You can still earn by subleasing AdSpace #1 without joining the program in the AdSpace. 

Your next step is to decide upon your marketing plan. The TEProfit system is available through your back office. It is an excellent free marketing system.   Upgrading in TEP is optional, a one-time $15; you are not required to upgrade to use the free system.  Please read TEP Marketing and your TEP Back Office area for further information about TEP and its related cost.

The following guidelines will help you understand the business:


1. Read everything in your back office. Click on every link you can find and see where it takes you.

Tip:  It may help to print out the pages and read the material on a printed copy away from your computer, with pen and highlighter in hand. 


This is YOUR business.  You will want to understand it fully. Sure, you may get a little frustrated at first, but just keep reading, taking notes and soon you will master it. 

OBA is a simple business - sell $5 digital products and the rest follows. So how do you do this?

It is highly recommended that you opt to use the TEP marketing system which is available from your OBA back office.  

However, you can choose to advertise your OBA sales pages directly on various ad sites, traffic exchanges, and safe lists.

Some business owners use TEP marketing exclusively. Others promote their OBA sales pages using the referral links provided in their back office. And some use other marketing methods and systems.     
 

2.  Visit the Owners Business Center [OBC] and READ.  If you don't like to read, or won't read, you will find it difficult to operate any business on the Internet.
