Advertising: Part 2

I explained in Part 1 the importance of getting visitors to your sales pages. There are many ways to advertise online, but essentially they all aim to achieve the same outcome: to bring visitors to your web pages.

In order to draw customers to your business, you must do some form of repeated advertising, and you should have a plan for your advertising campaigns. As well, you need to have a good follow-up system, whereby you follow up with your potential and existing customers. (Hint: the follow up is where most marketers fail).

Fortunately, OBA provides us with professional sales webpages and marketing tools. If you are new to internet marketing, I suggest you use the professional webpages provided. Later as you gain more experience, you can create and host your own.

As a starting point, read the entire Marketing Section in your back office. If you are logged in to your OBA back office, click here to go there now. Hover over the green menu tab to the left - it will slide out. Visit each page under the heading "Your Marketing System."

In the resources section you will notice links to marketing tools, such as Traffic Hoopla, AWeber and others. I recommend that you join Traffic Hoopla and Aweber, which you can join as free affiliates.

With Aweber, you can earn as a free affiliate, but to use their autoresponder services, you must be a paid customer. If you are not on my team, please use the links in your
OBA back office to join. Remember to replace the referral links in your OBA back office with yours!

OBA plans to add to the list of marketing tools. You do not need to rush in and sign up for them. Simply be aware that those links are available to you in your back office as either a useful tool, a source of additional income, or both.

You will have plenty of time to consider which other tools would be useful to you. As it happens, the external programs in AdSpace™ Leases #1 and #2 also offer marketing tools, so we have many choices. Get advice from your sponsor or upline and check out what your OBA business partners are saying about these tools in the Owner's Business Center [OBC].

If you are serious about building your
OBA business, joining from the links in your back office is a no-brainer because your new partners will join under you with no extra effort on your part, provided you have updated your links in your back office. You do not have to promote these additional income streams separately. They grow automatically as your OBA team and business grows!

My sponsor Nat (successhelper) posted in the OBC a link to some marketing tips and quotes. Nat rightly points out the value of Tip #99 in the series, which fits in nicely with the point I wish to convey to you on this subject:

"Avoid the temptation to get lost in all the opportunities that are presented to you on the internet. Not every advertising program is right for you. Not every business opportunity is right for you. Not every search engine tactic is right for you. Success on the net is all about focus, focus, focus!"

In the next section, Advertising: Part 3, I explain some of the methods of internet marketing, promotion and advertising that I use and point you to places where you can find more information.
